Core Appliance Solutions is seeking an experienced Appliance Repair Technician to join our team in the Albuquerque metro area.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a technician who already has hands-on residential appliance repair experience, is comfortable diagnosing problems independently, and can complete service calls professionally from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential major appliances
• Service refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, ovens and other household appliances
• Accurately troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and electronic failures
• Provide customers with clear explanations of diagnoses and recommended repairs
• Complete repairs efficiently and correctly
• Maintain accurate service documentation
• Keep company vehicle, tools and equipment organized
• Provide professional and courteous customer service

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional appliance repair experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with multiple major appliance brands
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and use a multimeter
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical appliance systems
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Must be able to lift and maneuver appliances/components as required

Experience with refrigeration, sealed-system diagnostics and repair is a major plus.

Compensation

Up to $38 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.

Higher compensation may be considered for technicians with advanced diagnostic, refrigeration and sealed-system experience.
