Elementary Security Guard

Location: Conshohocken Elementary School

Qualifications:

• Preferred background in law enforcement
• Familiarity with needs of students, and with safety issues that affect the health and welfare of individuals
• Previous or current School employment, to include experience in school safety programs preferred

Availability: Immediately

Responsibilities:

Position is responsible for preserving the safety, health and welfare of students, staff members and visitors in the assigned building. The security officer should strive to prevent any theft and vandalism of school district property and the property of others while on school premises. This position works under the immediate supervision of the district school safety officer with secondary supervision being provided by the building principal. Candidate must be comfortable with interacting with younger children.
