SCHEDULE: M-F (TRAINING) 8AM - 5PM


Job Title: Fleet Coordinator (Nationwide Vehicle Management)


Position Overview: The Fleet Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the management and operation of a fleet of vehicles across multiple regions nationwide. This individual will ensure the efficient deployment, maintenance, and utilization of company vehicles to support operational needs, compliance with regulations, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in fleet management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the deployment, assignment, and movement of vehicles across various locations nationwide.
  • Ensure vehicles are available and properly maintained to meet the company’s operational needs.
  • Monitor vehicle usage and develop strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Schedule regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections of fleet vehicles.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including vehicle registrations, licenses, and safety inspections.
  • Manage relationships with third-party service providers for vehicle repairs, leasing, and maintenance.
  • Track and maintain accurate records of vehicle performance, fuel usage, mileage, and costs.
  • Prepare and present reports on fleet performance, budgeting, and key metrics to management.
  • Utilize fleet management software to ensure proper tracking and optimization of vehicle use.
  • Implement and monitor safety protocols and procedures for vehicle operations.
  • Handle insurance claims, accident reports, and resolve any issues related to vehicle damage or loss.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure vehicles meet all safety standards.
  • Develop and manage the fleet budget, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers to secure competitive rates.
  • Monitor fuel costs and implement strategies for fuel efficiency.
  • Coordinate with drivers and other internal departments to ensure timely and efficient vehicle delivery and usage.
  • Manage relationships with vehicle leasing and purchasing vendors.
  • Support driver recruitment, training, and onboarding processes as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Clean Driving Record
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in fleet management or logistics coordination.
  • Strong understanding of fleet management software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage large-scale vehicle operations.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements for fleet operations.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience managing fleets across multiple states or regions.
  • Knowledge of fuel optimization strategies and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
