Job description

We are looking for a thorough maintenance technician with solid experience in remodeling of residential properties to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of residential premises.

- Minimum residential maintenance experience of 3 years required

-Must have extensive working knowledge in plumbing repairs, general maintenance repairs, carpentry, drywall, flooring and electrical wiring

-Strong plumbing and HVAC experience a plus

-Experience with appliance repair a plus

-Experience with general remodeling (drywall, painting, etc.) required

-Team player

-Willing to rotate for on call evening, weekends and holidays

-No criminal history

-Clean driving record

-Must have a reliable transportation. Will need a pick up truck

Responsibilities

• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
• Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide
• Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, mowing etc.)
• Ability to meet budget and timelines

Skills

• Proven experience as maintenance technician
• Basic understanding of electrical, and other systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Certificate or working knowledge in electrical, HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
• Good communication skills, neat and organized
• Must have own tools, reliable transportation, clean driving and criminal history
• Must have a positive upbeat attitude
