Supervisor: F&B Director

Department: Janitorial 

Type: November - End of Season / Seasonal

Position Overview: Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting, managing garbage disposal, restocking supplies, and reporting repair needs in all Resort buildings.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and polish floors daily or as required.
  • Gather, remove, and dispose of trash.
  • Service and clean bathroom facilities, stalls, and partitions.
  • Dust and / or wash walls, windows, and woodwork as needed.
  • Mix water and detergent cleaners.
  • Use power equipment for cleaning floors. 
  • Ensure all buildings inside and outside are clean and free of debris and garbage. 
  • Clear dishes and trash from tables and sanitize.
  • Gather, clear, wash dishes either by hand or using commercial dishwasher and restock.
  • Stock supplies and notify Supervisor of supplies and equipment needs and maintenance.
  • Use proper PPE including but not limited to gloves as required.
  • Assist with end-of-shift kitchen deep cleaning.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform the job and get along with others to build a positive working environment.
  • Show up to work on time with consistent attendance.
  • Physically perform the essential job functions of this position.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Environmental Factors:

  • Exposure to heat and hot surfaces, sharp items, moving equipment, and scalding liquids in kitchen areas and dishwashing areas.
  • Face-to-face interactions with Resort staff.
  • Walking, bending, rotating, and standing constantly.
  • Frequently climbing stairs.
  • Manual dexterity and repetitive use of hands, arms, shoulders, back, and legs frequently.
  • Lifting to waist level of 40 lbs. infrequently and 25 lbs. or less frequently.
  • Sight and hearing of acceptable standards for Essential Job Functions.
  • The working environment may be stressful when meeting Supervisor and guest needs.
  • Frequent walking on uneven, steep, and slippery terrain with job site hazards.
  • Exposure to cold temperatures and severe weather.

Requirements

Education / Experience:

  • Must be 18 of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Washington State Health Card.
  • Background check.
