Weekly Pay – $1,350 to $1,550 | Home Every Weekend

Drop-and-hook freight and organized Northeast routes give this regional CDL A truck driver position a straightforward operating pattern. CK Transportation is looking for a Class A CDL driver who wants a Monday through Friday schedule, primarily no-touch freight, and a full 48-hour reset at home every weekend.

Assigned Equipment

Drivers operate 2019 or newer Freightliner Cascadia tractors with automatic transmissions. Trucks are equipped with APUs, inverters, refrigerators, double bunks, SiriusXM capability, and TV setup options. Regular preventive maintenance is used to keep equipment road-ready and limit avoidable downtime during the workweek.

Regional Freight

The operation covers established lanes throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, and surrounding Northeast states. Freight is primarily no-touch dry van with frequent drop-and-hook loads. Dispatch works to coordinate upcoming freight in advance whenever possible, creating smoother transitions between assignments and supporting consistent regional mileage.

Drivers normally operate Monday through Friday before returning home for a full 48-hour weekend reset. The repeat lane structure also gives drivers an opportunity to become familiar with customer locations and common freight corridors rather than working an entirely different operating area each week.

• $500 paid during the 2.5-day orientation

Weekly earnings range from $1,350 to $1,550 based on miles and performance. Payroll is processed every Friday. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation, holiday pay, safety incentives, E-Z Pass, and I-Pass coverage.

Hotel accommodations and meals are provided during orientation. Drivers receive information about their lanes, dispatch contacts, and operating expectations before beginning their first assignment.

Experience Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Class A CDL. Experience requirements can be satisfied with 3 months of OTR experience within the last year, 6 months of OTR or local experience within the last year, or 1 year of OTR experience within the past 3 years.
