Mechanical Engineer (EtO Projects, Construction & C&Q)

Summary:

Provides technical support during the construction and commissioning of two EtO projects. Works with the project team, contractors, and subcontractors to support mechanical activities and keep the project on track.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support construction and commissioning activities for two EtO projects.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager and Corporate Engineering.
  • Work with contractors and subcontractors to support project activities.
  • Provide technical support related to mechanical engineering activities.
  • Monitor project activities and report issues or progress to the appropriate project leads.
  • Support coordination of 2–3 trades, subcontractors, or staff.
  • Support compliance with project safety and quality requirements.
Requirements: Education and Professional Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, construction, and/or commissioning projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications/Licenses: PMP, OSHA 30, or industry-specific credentials related to GMP, cleanroom, pharmaceutical/medical device, sterilization, or manufacturing projects.
  • Software/ Tools:Procore, MS Project, or specific ERP/scheduling platforms used by the client.
  • Industry Experience:Experience in life sciences, heavy mechanical, cleanroom construction, or related industries, beyond general project management experience.
