We are currently looking for: Cook Hourly : 1 replacement position, 3 days a week, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., CHSLD de Laval With the possibility of 2 other days at our other establishment in Laval (Résidence Riviera) Salary : $29.70 per hour JOB DESCRIPTION: As a cook, you are responsible for preparing, seasoning, cooking and portioning tasty and appetizing meals for our residents. You will be required to manage several elements of meals, such as: Soups and broths Main dishes and their sides Desserts and drinks You will have to work while respecting: The established menu Standardized recipes Diets and textures specific to each resident Health and safety standards in establishment kitchens REQUIREMENTS: Hold a DEP in cooking or equivalent training Have 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare establishment Fluency in spoken and written French Be available for the day shift and every other weekend Be familiar with professional kitchen equipment REQUIRED SKILLS: Strong interest in senior clients Leadership and supervisory capacity Versatility, autonomy, sense of initiative and good tolerance to stress Team spirit Organization, attention to detail and rigor Creativity and resourcefulness PRIVILEGES AND BENEFITS: Commitment to Employer of Choice status Accredited with honorary mention by Accreditation Canada Customer Experience approach in full swing Recognition programs and activities Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 97% job satisfaction rate (Pulse Survey - Accreditation Canada) Free parking and close to public transport Recent building with state-of-the-art equipment
