Location: Basehor KS

What Youll Do
  • Build relationships with prospective customers through inbound leads and outbound outreach
  • Conduct needs-based conversations and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
  • Quote and sell auto, home, life, and other eligible State Farm products
  • Follow up consistently to nurture leads and convert prospects
  • Maintain accurate CRM notes, pipeline tracking, and sales documentation
  • Provide excellent customer service and support after policies are written
  • Participate in training, sales meetings, and community events as needed
Requirements
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Sales experience preferred (insurance sales experience a plus, but not required)
  • Ability to learn products, pricing, and underwriting guidelines
  • High motivation, coachability, and strong work ethic
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to meet customers as needed
  • Ability to pass required background checks and licensing steps (see below)
Licensing & Training
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain the required insurance licenses for your role (e.g., P&C and/or Life/Health as applicable).
  • If not currently licensed, we will support you with the steps to become licensed in accordance with state requirements.
  • Training will be provided on agency processes and State Farm products.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base pay: Base pay + commission
  • Commission/bonus: Uncapped commission with performance bonuses
  • Benefits (if applicable): 401(k), paid time off, paid holidays
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
  • Prior experience in insurance, banking, real estate, or other sales roles
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (or willingness to learn quickly)
  • Comfort speaking with customers via phone, email, and in-person
