SUMMARY
This role leads the strategy, development, quality, and global delivery of CEDIA’s tech ed portfolio, ensuring curriculum, certifications, instructor programs, and learning experiences align with emerging technologies, industry standards, workforce needs, and the smart home industry.
As a technical SME and education leader, you'll maintain a strong on-site presence at CEDIA HQ, support the Experience Center/training facilities, and serve as CEDIA’s lead North American technical instructor. The role delivers hands-on, instructor-led, virtual, and customized education for members and non-members.
Working with internal teams, volunteers, manufacturers, members, instructors, and partners, you'll drive instructional quality, learner outcomes, technical excellence, and continuous improvement while serving as an ambassador for CEDIA education.
WHAT YOU’LL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
You'll own the direction, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of CEDIA’s global tech ed programs, ensuring professionals have practical, relevant, industry-aligned training throughout their careers. This includes curriculum, certifications, instructor development, tech resources, learning pathways, standards, and emerging technologies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
TRAVEL
Up to 50% domestic/international travel, including possible evenings/weekends, to deliver CEDIA training/content at HQ, CEDIA Connects, local learnings, etc. Also requires annual organizational off-site travel of up to 2 weeks/year.
