Job description
About the Role
The Electrician shall serve as CBS's lead on all related electrical preventative maintenance tasks, service calls, and repair initiatives. The Electrician will perform the following:
- General operations, maintenance installation, and repair of electrical systems and components
- Coordinate with specialty sub-contractors to perform high voltage testing and apply trade skills as necessary
- Install, maintain and repair electrical fixtures, equipment, and systems
- Supports Engineers and Utilty Mechanics when they perform certain electrical specific tasks
Must be available to respond to on-site emergencies
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair complex electrical power distribution systems
- Operate and perform preventative maintenance on complex facility electrical power distribution systems
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair complex electrical power distribution systems
- Operate and perform Preventive Maintenance on complex facility electrical power distribution systems.
- Perform Certification testing
- Facility Code Compliance (assure compliance with Federal, State and Local safety and health standards.
All Shifts 7am - 3pm, (SUN - THU) or (TUE - SAT) or (FRI - TUE)
Salary: $52.70 per hour
You Should HavePossess a Journeyman commercial/industrial license issued by a State or other accredited board.
Must possess at least (4) four years of Journeyman Level experience (obtained within the past 7 years) performing inspection, troubleshooting, repairing, operating and performing preventive maintenance on complex electrical power distribution systems
Possess accreditation by National Electrical Testing Association (NETA)
Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in Building Operations
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess a professional demeanor
Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
