Loader

The Loader plays a critical role in the efficient operation of logistics and supply chain processes by ensuring that goods and materials are safely and accurately loaded onto transportation vehicles. This position requires attention to detail to verify shipment contents and proper placement to maximize space and prevent damage during transit. The Loader collaborates closely with warehouse and transportation teams to maintain smooth workflow and timely dispatch of shipments. Safety is paramount, as the Loader must adhere to all regulatory and company guidelines to protect themselves and others in the work environment. Ultimately, the Loader contributes to customer satisfaction by supporting the reliable and prompt delivery of products.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
  • Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or loading environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload materials, products, and equipment from trucks, containers, or storage areas using appropriate tools and machinery.
  • Inspect shipments for accuracy and report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
  • Organize and stack goods in designated areas to optimize space and maintain orderliness.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other loading equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and drivers to coordinate loading schedules and shipment priorities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loading area to support operational efficiency.
