Position Overview:

A Lead is a subject matter expert who coaches, motivates and guides operational work performed by their peers. Leads are responsible for monitoring and reporting any extraordinary performance or deviations from operational standards. As a cargo agent, you will assist customers during the shipping and handling process by expediting and routing movement of incoming and outgoing cargo and freight shipments for air transportation. 3 Full-Time positions working 3rd shift over-night hours!!!!!!!!! and 2 Part-Time positions working 5:00/6:00PM - 10:00PM/11:00PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

Builds up and breaks down cargo pallets and freight containers following guidelines;

Ensures all company and customer safety standards are met and maintained;

Identifies cargo that does not meet customer or company standards and or guidelines;

Organizes freight within the warehouse according to the base storage plan;

Properly and safely loads and unloads freight;

Required Skills and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred;

Must be at least 18 years old;

A valid driver's license is required for this position.

Previous shipping experience preferred but not required;

Maintain and treat all information as confidential;

Possess the tact to deal with all levels of employees and client representatives;

Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English;

Must be able to verbally direct in English;

Work Environment:

Indoor environment which may contain small, close or confined space(s).

Physical Demands:

Must be able to squat, stoop, kneel, bend, stretch, crawl in awkward positions;

Must be able to lift, push pull up to 75 pounds at times;

May be exposed to hazards inherent in airport operations, including noise, vehicles, equipment, and weather, all of which are well-managed with a high level of training, personal protective equipment, and safety procedures.
