Butler McDonald is a boutique law firm with a broad range of practice areas. 

The firm serves the entire State of Louisiana through Successions and Estate Planning, Civil Defense Litigation, Business Law, and State and Local Tax, as well as our Federal Tax practice. 

Open since 2012, the firm is continuing to rapidly grow and diversify, and we are looking to make our next hire for our tax department. 

Our team prides itself on being problem solvers capable of meeting client needs with out of the box solutions. 

We see our work as exciting and we're looking for someone who can take initiative on complex, multi-faceted projects, and who can manage their own docket of cases.

Necessary Qualifications:

- Louisiana Bar License 

- 5 years experience in tax defense at both a state and federal level

- Self-starter

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to independently manage workload and schedule

- Ability to prioritize and multitask

Job Type: Full-time; Monday-Friday 

Work Location: In person; Metairie, Louisiana 70001

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year; Pay is negotiable commensurate with experience level
