The Safety Manager position is accountable for site contractor health and safety responsibilities and maintaining a strong safety culture at the project. The position requires a detail oriented professional capable of identifying and acting on risk and exposures identified associated with distribution equipment upgrades in an active work environment. This work will take place in an Amazon facility and involves the installation of conveyors, hoppers, and sorter systems. Responsibilities also include ensuring the installation work site is compliant with local EHS laws and regulations as well as the client’s safety guidelines, EHS policies, and procedures. This role is an integral part of the project that requires strong communication between subcontractors, other project team members, owner client safety team, and will include communicating recommendations based on safety assessments to ensure continuity throughout the project. A current OSHA 500 or CHST / CSP,ASP or Degree in Occ. Safety and Health is required as minimum for this project.
