Role Description The Aggregate Salesperson is a full-time, hybrid role based in Kempner, TX, with a mix of on-site client visits, office work, and some work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for generating new business and managing existing accounts by identifying customer needs, recommending aggregate products, preparing quotes, and following up to close sales. Day-to-day activities include visiting job sites and customer locations, responding to phone and email inquiries, coordinating with dispatch and operations on orders and deliveries, and maintaining accurate records in the CRM or sales tracking system. The Aggregate Salesperson will monitor market trends and competitor activity, participate in pricing discussions, and help develop local sales strategies to grow volume and profitability. Regular communication with customers to ensure satisfaction, handle concerns, and support repeat business is a key aspect of this position.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside or territory sales, preferably in aggregates, construction materials, or a related industrial sector.
  • Strong customer relationship skills, including the ability to build trust, understand project requirements, and provide consultative solutions.
  • Solid communication and negotiation abilities, with clear, professional verbal and written skills.
  • Comfort with basic technology, including CRM systems, email, spreadsheets, and mobile tools for field work.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, project timelines, and aggregate product types is highly beneficial.
  • Strong organization and time-management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, quotes, and follow-ups.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to customer sites and job locations.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and collaborate effectively with operations, dispatch, and management teams.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
