Job description

Casual ID Monitor

The Casual ID Monitor will serve as a key member of the staff that monitors patronage of the Kenneth Langone Athletics Center (KLARC). The ID Monitor will greet all individuals entering the facility and ensure safety and oversight of the venue.

Reporting Relationship

  • Reports to the Manager, Recreation Services

Work Setting/Work Schedule

  • This is a casual, part-time position
  • Ability to work a variety of schedules - including days, nights and weekends

What You Will Do

  • Open and close the KLARC according to facility procedures.
  • Monitor facility access and ensure appropriate use of spaces.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment.
  • Operate lights, AV, and fitness equipment as scheduled.
  • Respond to emergencies and follow safety protocols.
  • Report maintenance, custodial, and security issues.
  • Greet and assist patrons professionally.
  • Complete incident and injury reports as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Work involves minimal physical activity, such as: walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting

Job Exempt: No

Salary Range: 12.50-12.50

The offer rate will be based on a review of the candidate's credentials compared to the qualifications of the position, internal equity, and our overall compensation philosophy.

This role is not budgeted for visa sponsorship, all candidates must be authorized to work in the US without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.
