An OT's fundamental role is to help every child who we serve achieve their goals and reach their fullest potential. Our current team of Occupational Therapist is remarkable: they are passionate, deeply motivated to serve children, hilarious, brilliant, and work relentlessly hard every day to achieve the best outcomes.
The Shandy Clinic is an owner-operated organization, and serving our patients is at the center of everything we do. We fundamentally believe that our multi-disciplinary, fully integrated, approach drives better clinical outcomes and helps ensure success in the home, classroom, and community. Our team works with patients in both land and aquatic settings (select locations) in a one-on-one ratio. Our full-time team includes Speech, Physical, and Occupational therapists, as well as ABA specialists (select locations) and Clinical Psychologists (select locations) to provide the most comprehensive and collaborative care to our patients and their families. Again, an Occupational Therapist's fundamental role is to help every child who we serve achieve their goals and reach their fullest potential. Position Requirements
Position Goals and Job Responsibilities: The Occupational Therapist will provide exceptional therapy services to pediatric clients and families in a privately owned outpatient setting
  • Provide individualized care to each client on caseload
  • Complete comprehensive pediatric evaluations assessing various skills and areas of development
  • Assist families with home programming and community transitions
  • Complete re-evaluations, establish and maintain client plans of care, and make treatment recommendations that are relevant to each individual client
  • Document daily treatment sessions and progress reports according to insurance standards
  • Bill for appropriate services completed
  • Supervise one or more Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants
  • Clearly communicate with all other disciplines, teachers, supervisors, and the Shandy Clinic administrative staff (billing, authorizations, referrals, human resources)
  • Supervise student interns as scheduled by Student Program Coordinator

Clinic Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
