Job description

Job Summary:
Team member who can assemble products that support the bowling industry. Assemble various parts to make a finished product along with the ability to follow work instructions and read engineering drawings. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and quality expectations. Assist in training of new employees and help line supervisor with lean manufacturing efforts. SAPAT. (Safety, Accuracy, Productivity, Attendance, Teamwork).
Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
75 %
Properly assemble lane machine and other non-lane machine assemblies to achieve expected result utilizing work instructions and engineering procedures. Produce high quality subassemblies that meet engineering specifications. Pick and pack work orders for Kitting. Responsible for ensuring first level of quality inspection is met.
15 %
Assist with material handling and inventory control. Pick/Pack finished product along with transfer orders to the warehouse. Use of RF device and material handling equipment - Fork lift license required.
10 %
Review work and make proper adjustments to meet performance specifications. Ensure Quality standards are met. Assist with work instructions with the team.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Experience
2-3 years experience in hand and tool assembly required, electro-mechanical skills and troubleshooting. Ability to learn, develop self and improve manufacturing processes. Must have experience in manufacturing/assembly processes, ability to read drawings and be able to effectively communicate with other employees and supervisor. Must be flexible and willing to work in various areas of Operation when needed.
Education Level
Must be able to read and communicate English along with math skills for measurements and unit of measure conversions. Some college or technical school graduate and/or equivalent work experience with high tech assemblies.
