Position Overview

Broadview Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities

• Client Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations to determine clients' mental health status through interviews, questionnaires, and psychological assessments.
• Therapeutic Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific challenges and goals, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Ongoing Therapy Sessions: Hold regular therapy sessions, providing both individual and group therapies with a focus on crisis intervention and coping strategies.
• Resource Coordination: Build a network of professional connections and refer clients to additional healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, if medication management or multidisciplinary involvement is required.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients encompass a broad spectrum of mental health challenges, including but not limited to substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. As a counselor at Broadview Behavioral Health Center, you will engage with clients from various backgrounds and navigate culturally sensitive practices, ensuring that therapy is inclusive and responsive to individual needs. You will play a pivotal role in helping clients overcome their issues and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• At least four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling.
• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Ability to engage in culturally competent therapy practices that reflect empathy and understanding for diverse populations.
• Proven crisis intervention skills and the capability to maintain composure in high-pressure circumstances.

Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering both individual and group therapy sessions.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital therapeutic tools.
• A demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on developing rapport and trust with clients.

Compensation and Benefits

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, Broadview Behavioral Health Center provides a comprehensive benefits package including:
