Position Overview

Brightways Recovery Plus, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our remote team full-time. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to provide essential mental health support to clients through telehealth services, addressing their emotional and psychological needs from the comfort of their own homes. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to establish a work-life balance while delivering essential mental health services via telehealth. You will have the flexibility to engage with patients in their own environments, providing comfort and familiarity to enhance the therapeutic process. This position supports both full-time and part-time schedules, contingent on appointment availability and your preferences as a practitioner.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with primary care practitioners to effectively identify, treat, and manage mental health and psychosocial concerns, improving the overall efficacy of the healthcare team.
• Conduct thorough patient intakes, focusing on diagnostic evaluations and developing personalized therapy objectives in consultation with healthcare teams.
• Provide timely mental health interventions to clients in need of emergency support, employing evidence-based practices and compassionate care.
• Guide primary care providers in determining suitable patient cases for supplementary mental health services or referrals to specialized professionals when necessary.
• Perform routine follow-up evaluations to assess patients' progress, effectiveness of treatments, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Work collaboratively with patients to develop relapse prevention strategies that empower and support their ongoing recovery journeys.
• Identify at-risk individuals and help design preventative care programs tailored to their specific needs.
• Oversee the delivery of mental health care, coordinating with other providers to ensure comprehensive patient care across various settings.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation regarding treatment plans and patient progress, in line with Agency and Federally Qualified Health Center compliance standards.
• Communicate effectively with primary care providers, ensuring continuous updates on patients' needs and actively participating in treatment planning.
• Offer guidance to patients on lifestyle choices and self-management techniques to aid in overcoming physical and psychological barriers to health.
• Engage in consultation with management on behavioral service enhancements and program development opportunities.
• Adhere strictly to the Clinical Professionals' Code of Ethics and fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

You will be serving a diverse range of clients, including individuals coping with various mental health issues, those seeking emotional support during medical treatment, and families navigating social challenges. Your empathetic approach will help you connect with patients from various backgrounds, ensuring they feel understood and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling is required.
• A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license is mandatory.
• Expertise in mental health evaluation, treatment planning, and knowledge of developmental psychopathology and relevant therapy methodologies.
• Ability to fluently communicate in both English and Spanish is preferred, enhancing our ability to reach populations that may benefit from bilingual services.
• Strong understanding of the social implications of psychological conditions affecting individuals and families.
• Familiarity with local community resources, including access and referral processes, is a significant asset.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a telehealth environment is a plus.
• Prior engagement in collaborative care models and familiarity with FQHC standards will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time or part-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
