Company Description English Technical Sales is a manufacturers’ representative serving customers across the Southwestern United States. The company specializes in value engineering solutions focused on Wireless Connectivity, interconnect, power, and signal integrity products for a wide range of technical applications. English Technical Sales partners closely with clients to understand performance requirements and deliver optimized, cost-effective solutions. Team members collaborate with both customers and manufacturing partners, providing technical insight and responsive service in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Role Description This full-time, on-site Field Sales Representative role is based in the Phoenix metro area, AZ. The position is responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, visiting client sites, and presenting technical solutions for wireless, interconnect, power, and signal integrity products. Day-to-day activities include prospecting new business, following up on leads, conducting product demonstrations, and coordinating with manufacturers to address customer requirements. The Field Sales Representative help to prepare quotations, negotiate pricing within guidelines, and track opportunities through the sales cycle. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, providing feedback on market trends, and collaborating with internal team members to ensure high-quality customer support.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical sales skills, including experience presenting engineering solutions and explaining product specifications to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships, with skills in territory management, lead follow-up, and opportunity tracking.
  • Solid communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to prepare clear proposals, respond to customer inquiries, and represent the company professionally on-site.
  • Comfort working in field-based roles, including regular customer visits, travel within the Southwestern region, and effective time management.
  • Basic understanding of electrical or electronic components or a strong willingness to learn technical product details.
  • Proficiency with common business software and CRM systems to document activities, manage pipelines, and report on sales performance.
  • Self-directed work style, reliability in meeting commitments, and readiness to collaborate with colleagues and manufacturing partners.
  • Relevant experience in technical sales, field sales, or a related commercial/engineering role; a degree or certification in engineering, business, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
