Position Overview

Bright Mind Counseling, LLC is seeking skilled and compassionate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand your clients' mental health histories and develop tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other relevant therapies, to treat mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship conflicts.
• Provide crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring safety and creating stabilization strategies to support their immediate mental health needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as social workers and peer supporters, to coordinate comprehensive care, referral services, and community resources for clients.
• Maintain detailed and confidential client documentation in adherence to ethical guidelines and legal requirements, while also contributing to regular case reviews and supervision meetings.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuous education by participating in workshops, webinars, and staying updated on the latest advancements in mental health therapy and practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role, you will cater to a diverse demographic of clients seeking mental health support, including children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families. You will foster an inclusive environment, where cultural competence and understanding play crucial roles in building trusted therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution of higher education.
• Active licensure in California as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT, demonstrating your credentials and adherence to industry standards.
• A background in providing counseling across different settings, with experience in addressing a variety of mental health issues.
• Strong skills in communication, empathy, and active listening, allowing you to effectively engage with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A commitment to practicing within a culturally competent framework, ensuring respectful and equitable treatment for all clients.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a mental health counseling role, highlighting significant exposure to individual, couple, and family therapy.
• Experience working with telehealth services, demonstrating comfort with virtual therapy techniques and technology.
• Knowledge of community resources and supports available to clients, including local health services, support groups, and advocacy organizations.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, based on experience and licensure.
