Medical Assistant – Clinical Support Team Lead

Access Healthcare Associates as part of Brigade Health is an inclusive, diverse, and purpose-driven healthcare company. We are a mobile medical practice serving the senior population in assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, board and care facilities, and private homes. We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Assistant with strong clinical expertise to provide in-office support and assist with overseeing our Clinical Department.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of Clinical Team members.
  • Support the Clinical Supervisor with daily clinical operations and departmental priorities.
  • Monitor attendance, PTO, call-offs, workload distribution, productivity, and team performance.
  • Provide coaching, auditing, and productivity support to meet departmental goals.
  • Ensure timely handling of patient cases, faxes, emails, lab reviews, prescription refills, and hotline messages.
  • Track KPIs and maintain accurate clinical tracking systems, workflows, and reports.
  • Coordinate skilled nursing facility workflows and Home Health referrals, including documentation, follow-up, and communication.
  • Lead daily Clinical Team stand-up meetings and coordinate weekly departmental alignment meetings.
  • Maintain the Clinical Department sections of the Monday Morning Meeting agenda.
  • Prepare required reports, metrics, and deliverables for leadership and management.
  • Partner with leadership to improve workflows, SOPs, and operational tools.
  • Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant from an approved school or equivalent training and experience.
  • Very strong computer skills, including EHR systems, email, Microsoft Word, and spreadsheets.
  • Basic clinical knowledge.
  • Must have previous leadership or team lead experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, professional, reliable, punctual, and flexible.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be comfortable working with senior patients.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $25–$27 per hour

Local Los Angeles-area candidates only. Must be able to commute to our Beverly Hills location.
