Job description

Hours: 5:30AM - 4:00 PM

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and motivated Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in a manufacturing environment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment, reducing downtime, and supporting our production goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery and equipment used in the production of reinforced concrete pipe and precast products.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Replace parts and components such as motors, gears, belts, bearings, and seals.
  • Ensure that all machinery is properly calibrated and operating within safety and efficiency standards.
  • Work with the team to conduct preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Assist with installation, setup, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Respond to emergency repair requests and assist in critical breakdowns.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues quickly.
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy components and working with industrial machinery.
