Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Northwest Houston, TX
Salary: $120,000 (Negotiable)

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support new product launches, optimize manufacturing processes, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment. This role will focus on equipment implementation, process development, troubleshooting, lean manufacturing, and quality improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead equipment installation, validation, and production startup for new projects.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, PFMEA, and process flow maps.
  • Optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, and production layouts.
  • Execute engineering changes and monitor process capability (CPK).
  • Troubleshoot production, equipment, and quality issues while implementing corrective actions.
  • Support preventive maintenance, process audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Train production teams on manufacturing processes, equipment, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, maintenance teams, and cross-functional departments to improve efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing/process engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with quality tools including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, and Six Sigma.
  • Familiar with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills.
  • Automotive or industrial refrigeration experience preferred.
  • Fluent Mandarin required.
