We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist II to join our manufacturing team in Arlington, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision parts while maintaining quality and safety standards. This position requires the ability to work independently, interpret blueprints, perform machine setups, inspect finished parts, and troubleshoot machining issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision machined parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and machining specifications.
• Install and adjust tooling, chucks, fixtures, collets, and machine attachments.
• Set tool offsets and machine parameters.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure quality and production efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and replace tooling as needed.
• Record production information using the company's ERP system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
• Assist with training or guiding less experienced machinists when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of machine setup, tooling, offsets, and machining processes.
• Experience using precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for an entire shift.
• Frequently use hands and arms to operate machinery and tools.
• Lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing machine shop environment.
• Steel-toe boots and safety glasses are required.
• Exposure to moving machinery, metal shavings, and manufacturing debris.
• Must follow all safety policies, including appropriate work attire.
