Job description

Line Cook, Bouzy

Location: Bouzy
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Pay: $16-$19

Bouzy is seeking a Line Cook who can execute dishes with consistency, urgency, and attention to detail in a fast-paced kitchen. This role is responsible for preparing and plating menu items to standard, maintaining a clean and organized station, supporting service flow with the rest of the line, and helping uphold Bouzy’s food, sanitation, and kitchen standards throughout each shift.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items accurately and in a timely manner
  • Measure, prep, and assemble ingredients for service
  • Follow recipes, plating standards, and kitchen procedures consistently
  • Coordinate timing with the rest of the kitchen team during service
  • Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized station throughout the shift
  • Maintain accurate food pars behind the line
  • Perform assigned opening and closing side work
  • Stock food products in their proper locations
  • Restock the kitchen for subsequent shifts
  • Communicate low-stock and 86’d items before they become service problems
  • Work professionally with both BOH and FOH team members
  • Maintain health, safety, sanitation, and product quality standards
  • Continue learning about food, technique, and kitchen operations
  • Ensure CHG and Bouzy standards are upheld
Qualifications

Preferred

  • Prior line cook experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cooking, food handling, prep, and kitchen maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of food, culinary terms, and restaurant operations
  • Ability to work cleanly and consistently in a fast-paced environment

Reporting Structure

This role reports to the Head Chef and General Manager.
