Bartender, BouzyPosition Summary

Bouzy is seeking full-time and part-time bartenders who can deliver strong beverage execution, attentive guest service, and a polished bar experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is responsible for preparing and serving beverages accurately, supporting service-well tickets, maintaining a clean and fully stocked bar, and creating a professional, hospitality-driven experience for guests seated at the bar. A strong bartender in this role combines product knowledge, urgency, consistency, and sound guest judgment.

Core ResponsibilitiesBeverage Execution

• Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipe, measurement, and pour standards
• Execute service-well tickets accurately and efficiently
• Use proper glassware, garnishes, and presentation standards for all beverages
• Maintain pars and readiness for garnishes, bev naps, straws, and other bar supplies
• Stock liquor, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic products in their proper locations
• Maintain consistent beverage quality and product standards throughout the shift

Guest Experience

• Provide courteous, attentive, and professional service to guests at the bar
• Answer guest questions about beverages, food, and menu items with confidence and accuracy
• Recommend food and beverage items in a way that supports the guest experience and builds sales with integrity
• Professionally handle guest inquiries, complaints, and compliments
• Communicate guest needs and feedback to management as appropriate

Bar Organization and Shift Readiness

• Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready bar throughout the shift
• Keep the bar top, stools, floors, and visible guest areas clean and presentable
• Keep the guest line of sight clear and polished
• Perform assigned opening and closing side work
• Maintain proper stock, organization, and cleanliness at all times
• Communicate 86’d items to managers in a timely manner

Operational Standards

• Accurately account for all drinks poured and follow all cash-handling procedures
• Coordinate food service with the kitchen and support team
• Maintain proper health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Ensure CHG and Bouzy standards are upheld

Team Support and Development

• Assist in training new bar team members
• Assist in training servers on beverage knowledge and bar-related service standards
• Continue learning about beverage, food, hospitality, and industry trends
• Operate as part of the team, helping others and requesting help when needed

Required Qualifications

• Prior bartending experience required
• Strong working knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and beer
• Strong working knowledge of restaurant service and hospitality standards
• Ability to execute drinks consistently and accurately under pressure
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to provide professional guest service and handle guest issues appropriately
• Ability to stay organized and maintain cleanliness and standards throughout the shift
• Ability to work as part of a team and support restaurant operations beyond the bar when needed

Preferred Qualifications

• High-volume bartending experience encouraged
• Wine knowledge is a major plus
• Strong knowledge of food and culinary terms
• Ability to guide guest choices confidently and sell with integrity
• Ability to read the room and recognize where support is needed
• Experience helping train new team members
• Ongoing interest in beverage, food, and hospitality trends

Schedule and Role Reality

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Schedule includes a mix of days and nights
• This is a guest-facing, execution-heavy role with direct impact on both bar experience and restaurant flow
• Bartenders are expected to balance service-well production, direct guest service, stocking, cleanliness, product accuracy, and team support throughout the shift
• Success in this role depends on urgency, consistency, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain standards while working under pressure
