Role Description The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bowie, MD, responsible for overseeing ecological construction and land management projects from planning through completion. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating project schedules, managing resources and subcontractors, and monitoring progress to ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with environmental and safety regulations. The role involves working closely with clients, field crews, and internal stakeholders to clarify project requirements, address issues, and provide regular status updates. The Project Manager will review project documents, support permitting and inspections, track logistics for materials and equipment, and maintain accurate records and reports. This position also requires active participation at project sites to verify work quality, support field operations, and help resolve technical and logistical challenges.

Qualifications

  • Project management skills, including Project Management and Logistics Management, with experience coordinating schedules, resources, and budgets.
  • Expediting-related skills, such as Expeditor and Expediting, to ensure timely delivery of materials, permits, and documentation.
  • Inspection experience, with the ability to perform or coordinate Inspection activities to verify compliance with environmental, safety, and quality standards.
  • Knowledge of construction or environmental project workflows, preferably in stream restoration, stormwater management, shoreline stabilization, or wetland projects.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with field teams, clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • Proficiency in basic project management tools and software for scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in Bowie, MD, and at regional project locations, including outdoor field environments.
