Job description

Position Summary
q-Health Partners is seeking an exceptional individual to manage the credentialing activities of a busy physician practice and associated Ambulatory Surgery Center. As the Credentialing Specialist, you will maintain accurate provider records and facilitate timely provider enrollment, recredentialing and privileging activities. In this vital role, you will ensure the practice's continued participation with insurance payers as well as the uninterrupted hospital and Ambulatory Surgery Center privileges for its practitioners. Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to use a variety of software applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook
 
Experience
  • Experience with hospital credentialing, ASC privileging, and/or provider payer enrollment strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with physician practices, hospitals, insurance companies and/or ambulatory surgery centers is preferred.
