About the Role:

Borrowell is looking for a Sr. Partnerships Manager to play a key role in supporting Borrowell's growth in 2026 and beyond. Reporting to the Lead, Partnerships this role will be responsible for relationship management and collaborating directly with current and new partners. You will have the opportunity to tap into customer insights, existing partner data and industry insights to identify new partners, and execute unique projects. Given the role is a temporary 12 month contract, having a base level understanding of 'digital marketing in the context of finance/online marketplace' or similar work experience at a technology company is a must have.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day partnership relations and communication
• Identify, negotiate, and close partner proposals that align with Borrowell's growth goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to co-develop joint marketing campaigns, product integrations, and go-to-market strategies
• Represent the Borrowell brand in external meetings, conferences, and industry events
• Own partner and vertical level performance reporting, including designing robust Looker dashboards, utilizing advanced data analytics to monitor key lending and credit product performance metrics
• Analyze financial services KPIs such as: approval rates across user audiences and loan booking rates to identify friction points and perform partner benchmarking
• Translate complex data sets into actionable strategy to optimize revenue

Requirements

Experience:

• 10+ years experience with roles that may include customer success, account management, and business development
• Strong experience in contract negotiation, strategic planning, and cross-functional project leadership
• Analytical skills and extensive experience using Business Intelligence platforms (Looker, Tableau, etc) to independently tell a story from large datasets
• Excellence in proposing creative solutions to challenging problems
• Strong organizational skills and independent time manager
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, verbal and written communication skills
• You're excited by the possibility of pushing technology to find new ways of delivering financial services

Nice to Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in the FinTech industry or Financial Services

• Experience scaling partnerships for a startup

We are remote-first across Canada with an office in Toronto. This role will require you to attend in-person meetings and team-building events.

The budgeted annual salary range for this role is $120,000 to 170,000 CAD. Starting pay is determined by the candidate's relevant experience and skills.
