Our team comprises experienced physical therapists and a proficient physical therapist assistant who work collaboratively to provide top-notch care to our patients, primarily those holding private insurance. Work Environment

The ideal candidate will work onsite at our home care facility in San Diego. Your work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, providing you with a consistent schedule. In this supportive environment, you will interact closely with colleagues and healthcare professionals, allowing for collaborative case management and delivering comprehensive care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Bon Secours Therapy Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing patients’ needs and establishing clear, achievable goals for their rehabilitation.
• Managing a caseload, allowing for the dedicated treatment of 1 patient per hour to facilitate focused and personalized therapy interventions.
• Creating and implementing comprehensive care plans based on evidence-based practices and patient-specific requirements.
• Utilizing various treatment techniques to enhance clients’ mobility, reduce dependence on medications, and potentially avoid surgical interventions.
• Designing individualized fitness and wellness plans that align with the patients’ physical capabilities and condition.
• Documenting all therapy procedures thoroughly and maintaining accurate patient records.
• Motivating patients throughout their treatment journey, instilling confidence in their ability to regain their physical capabilities.
• Continuously evaluating treatment effectiveness and adjusting therapy protocols to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, ensuring optimal and holistic patient care.

At Bon Secours Therapy Center, you will primarily work with individuals seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries, sports-related issues, or general movement challenges. Our diverse patient population includes both adolescents and adults, each pursuing their unique goals of improved mobility and physical health. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid California Physical Therapist license is mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to uphold a professional record without any disciplinary history.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and a proven ability in developing effective exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient therapy setting.
• Exceptional competence in patient interaction and personalized care.
• A track record of successfully improving patient outcomes in a clinical environment.

Compensation and Benefits
