Key responsibilities

  • Assist in operational responsibilities of Ski & Ride programs and teaching areas, including greeting, registration, equipment fitting, setup, upkeep, and breakdown of teaching areas, surface lift operation, and facility cleanliness.

  • Share outdoor experiences with guests and teammates, promoting connection with nature and the resort.

  • Uphold guest and employee safety standards during ski and ride activities.


Job description

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking outgoing, energetic individuals who are passionate about sharing their love for adventure sports with our guests. 

Requirements:  

  • Willing to teach children and adults alike.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and guests through positive interpersonal skills. 
  • Willing to work in various types of inclement weather. 
  • Ability to attend Ski and Ride training sessions for both professional and personal development. 
  • Ability to work well in a diverse team environment. 
  • Ability to ski/ride green terrain comfortably and under control or willing to learn! 
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: 

  • Sharing fun and engaging outdoor experiences with your teammates and guests that help connect them with nature and our resort and keeps them coming back for a lifetime.
  • Upholding the highest levels of guest and employee safety.
  • Improving your skiing, riding, teaching, and interpersonal skills by adopting the methodology and techniques used by Blue Mountain Learning Center.
  • Assisting in operational responsibilities of Ski & Ride programs and teaching areas including but not limited to: greeting, registration process, equipment fitting, setup, upkeep, and breakdown of outdoor and indoor teaching areas, surface lift operation, overall cleanliness of facilities, and assisting supervisory staff members as necessary.
