Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, ensuring a thorough understanding of their history and current challenges.
• Design and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's goals, utilizing your expertise to incorporate appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing a supportive space for clients to express their feelings and work towards recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive care strategies and ensure the best outcomes for clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation, in compliance with HIPAA guidelines, to track progress and inform future treatment decisions.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development by staying abreast of the latest practices and advancements in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role specifically focuses on clients dealing with detoxification from substance use and other related mental health issues. You will provide critical support to individuals in emotional distress, guiding them through therapeutic processes that promote health and stability. Your expertise as an LCSW will be central to developing recovery strategies that resonate with clients' unique backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in the state of California is required.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in mental health counseling, ideally within a substance use or detox setting.
• Deep understanding of mental health issues, addiction, and treatment methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in navigating a virtual work environment, demonstrating high levels of self-motivation and discipline.
• A compassionate, empathetic approach to client care that prioritizes the well-being and dignity of each individual.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in utilizing telehealth platforms for therapy, making effective use of technology to enhance client engagement.

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 78,000 to USD 115,000 annually, based on your experience and caseload management.
