Work Environment

This position is established within our outpatient counseling center, primarily operating remotely due to our commitment to accessibility and convenience for our clients. Counselors work one-on-one with clients on an appointment basis, allowing for tailored scheduling that meets the diverse needs of our service population. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Blessings Counseling Center, you will take on a variety of essential duties, including:

• Conducting initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each client.
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients through individual, couples, family, and group counseling sessions.
• Utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities—such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy—customized to meet the specific needs of your clients.
• Engaging in collaborative treatment planning with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation, in accordance with ethical and legal standards, using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Participating in continuous professional development by attending workshops and training to stay current with advancements in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse population seeking assistance for various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will have the opportunity to engage with clients of all ages and backgrounds, ensuring that every individual feels valued and respected throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must possess the following:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• A valid and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of experience in providing counseling services, ideally in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with diverse client populations.
• Profound knowledge of ethical guidelines and legal regulations that govern the counseling profession.
• Proficiency in navigating EMR systems and related software tools.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling will find their skills highly regarded in our service framework. Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload. Additional benefits include:
