Job Purpose
  • - The Masonry Field Manager at BLAKLEY CORP is responsible for overseeing and managing masonry projects from inception to completion. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of masonry techniques to ensure projects are executed to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  • - Serve as the superintendent for masonry projects, ensuring all work is completed on schedule and within budget.
  • - Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to align project objectives and expectations.
  • - Supervise and lead masonry teams, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications.
  • - Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • - Manage project resources, including materials and equipment, to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • - Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process, maintaining open communication with all parties involved.
  • - Prepare and present project reports to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • - Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
QualificationsRequired Education:
  • - High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education
  • - College degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Required Experience
  • - Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or a supervisory role within the masonry industry
  • - Proven track record of successfully managing masonry projects from inception to completion
  • - Experience in coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other construction professionals
Preferred Experience
  • - Hands-on experience with masonry techniques and materials
  • - Experience working with large-scale commercial or industrial masonry projects
