We are seeking a highly experienced, detail-oriented Executive Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our fast-paced Property & Casualty agency. In this high-impact role, you will partner directly with an in-house producer to manage, market, and service an estimated $6 Million book of business consisting of mid-sized to large commercial accounts.
This position will begin as an in-office role to ensure seamless onboarding and integration with our team, with the opportunity to transition to a remote or hybrid arrangement after the first of the year based on performance and operational alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Book & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned $6M commercial book, providing exceptional service and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
- Producer Collaboration & Marketing: Work hand-in-hand with our in-house producer to strategically market and place both new business and upcoming renewals.
- Carrier Communications: Act as the agency liaison, corresponding effectively with insurance carriers, underwriters, and broker personnel to negotiate terms and resolve coverage inquiries.
- Policy Auditing & Data Integrity: Meticulously audit newly issued policies for accuracy against binds, and accurately book premiums within the agency management system.
- Day-to-Day Servicing: Handle endorsements, certificates of insurance, coverage changes, and billing inquiries efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 10–15 years of dedicated experience in commercial property & casualty insurance, specifically managing mid-market to large corporate accounts.
- Systems Expertise: Proficiency in handling agency management systems (APPLIED / TAMS) is essential. Experience with, or the adaptability to transition to, APPLIED EPIC in the near future is highly desirable.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep, comprehensive understanding of all commercial lines of P&C insurance coverages, forms, and risk profiles.
- Work Ethic: Exceptionally deadline- and detail-oriented with a proven track record of dependability in high-volume environments.
- Communication: Excellent written communication and grammar skills, with the ability to draft professional correspondence for corporate clients and executives.
