Role Description The Security Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Honolulu, HI. In this role, the Security Officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct regular patrols, and observe for safety or security concerns, including unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, or hazards. Daily tasks include controlling access points, checking identification or credentials as required, documenting activities and incidents, and completing accurate, timely reports. The Security Officer will respond to alarms and emergencies according to established protocols, provide support and direction to visitors and employees, and communicate clearly with supervisors and, when necessary, law enforcement or emergency responders. The role requires maintaining a professional presence, following all company policies, and supporting a respectful, safe environment for all individuals on-site.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to observe, assess, and respond to security and safety risks in a calm, structured manner.
• Strong communication skills, including clear verbal communication and accurate incident reporting in writing.
• Capacity to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and to react quickly in urgent situations.
• Ability to follow established procedures, work with minimal supervision, and exercise sound judgment.
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related fields is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security or safety certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Clean background suitable for security work and, where applicable, eligibility for required licenses or permits under local regulations.
