Job Summary
The Reservations Agent is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while assisting guests with lodging reservations and vacation planning. This role serves as a knowledgeable resource on Black Butte Ranch accommodations, amenities, and policies, ensuring accurate reservations, seamless communication across departments, and a memorable guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service while booking lodging reservations for guests.
- Assist guests and homeowners with reservation inquiries, policies, and special requests.
- Accurately communicate lodging options, resort policies, and vacation rental information.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, front desk, and property management to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, and reservation leads.
- Promote and upsell resort lodging, golf, dining, and other amenities.
- Resolve guest and homeowner concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate reservation records, run daily reports, and utilize reservation systems and software.
- Support Front Desk and Guest Services operations as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous hospitality, reservations, or customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn reservation software.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks as needed.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest service.
