Job Summary
Birgo is a mission-driven apartment management company dedicated to improving lives through real estate. We're looking for a Floating Maintenance Technician who specializes in Masonry. This is a full-time, year-round position. In the past, we've contracted out masonry work. Now we want to bring it in-house. Outside of masonry, this person will turn over units and complete work orders in apartments.ย
Locations: Float to any of the ~14 communities in North Tonawanda, Buffalo, Hamburg, and Lockport.ย
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay and Benefits
- $26-$28/hour, paid weekly (flexible for the right candidate)

Responsibilities
- Developย in-house masonry capabilities
- Perform skilled exterior and structural work, including brick repair, tuckpointing, and waterproofing
- Turnovers/make-readies
- In-unit repairs such as drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or HVAC
- Other duties as identified to help Birgo improve lives through real estate
Requirements
- Eligible to work in the United Statesย
- Valid driver's license
- Personal, reliable mode of transportation
- Lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance
- Safely utilize power tools
- Work in confined spaces; ascend and descend ladders and staircases
