Job Summary:

They are seeking an L1 Technical Support professional to perform hardware/software upgrades, provide technical support for North American clients, and resolve network-related issues efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and perform all hardware/software upgrading activities
• Backup maintenance on all computers
• Understanding of and ability to install, configure and test all workstation hardware/software
• Perform technical support for North American Client
• Contact internet provider and quickly deal with any internet issues/outages
• Resolve all monitoring station network related issues quickly and efficiently
• Resolve all customer network related issues quickly and efficiently
• Document in detail all work performed
• Create innovative solutions that boost productivity and efficiency
• Keep track of employee technical knowledge and perform training as necessary
• Create and upkeep technical manuals
• Maintain CCTV and access control infrastructure internally and externally
• Daily communication with customers verbally and via email
• Schedule and attend all technical support meetings and sessions with staff and customers
• Update service records every single time a service or interaction is performed on any hardware or software inside the station, or customers' sites, or customers' customer sites
• Take ownership of tasks and ensure complete resolution
• Ability to pay close attention to detail while performing technical tasks
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies through the use of self-study materials
• Ability to provide accurate estimates of how long tasks will take
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience in network administration
• Experience in working with Cisco Meraki, Ubiquity and Mikrotik
• Understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
• Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
• Windows System Maintenance
• Understanding existing and emerging technologies
• Ability to focus on results and execute the plan as discussed and decided
• Being adaptable to new technologies and business strategies
• Ability to remain calm during stressful situations
