Essential Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for a dependable, independent, and friendly Route Driver responsible for servicing assigned routes and ensuring customers’ waste is picked up in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a non-cdl box truck (16-20 foot box truck) on assigned routes; no CDL required, but prior commercial driving experience is required
• Complete daily routes efficiently while driving and parking in congested areas as needed
• Provide consistent service on recurring monthly routes, becoming familiar with assigned stops
• Pick up and transport biomedical waste safely in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Ensure all waste is properly secured in containers for safe transport
• Lift and handle materials regularly (most under 25 lbs, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs)

• Weekly pay with a guaranteed 40 hours per week

Requirements:

• Valid non-commercial driver’s license
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen
