Big Sky Reclamation

The Reclamation Operator plays a vital role in maintaining reclamation sites using standard heavy machinery. Working within a medium-sized team of operators and reporting to a supervisor, this position demands a focus on equipment operation, safety compliance, and maintenance. The operator will occasionally travel between sites to support reclamation efforts and ensure environmental and safety standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities

• Operate standard heavy machinery including tractors, loaders, excavators and off-road trucks.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations
• Perform routine equipment maintenance to guarantee operational efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• 40 Hazwoper certification preferred; course will be provided before work commences
• Proficient in heavy equipment operation
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Must be able to pass a drug test
