Job description

Certified Surgical Tech 

Big Bend Regional Medical Center is your community medical provider, serving the Big Bend region of Texas and its residents with emergency, laboratory, women’s and surgical services. We are your family, friends and neighbors, and we work with and for our community to provide quality healthcare that fits your life and lifestyle.

Position Details:
Full-Time 
40 Hours a week, 8 Hour shifts
$10,00 Sign-On Bonus with a 18-month commitment

Job Summary:

  • Assists surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-up for operations and passing items to doctors and nurses as needed.
  • Assists in preparing and moving patients and in cleaning the operating theater.
  • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technologists.
  • Experience preferred but not required.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
