Key Responsibilities

• Perform crisis assessments and interventions for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, including addiction-related crises.
• Provide immediate, empathetic counseling and support to individuals in crisis, ensuring a safe and conducive environment for recovery.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel to safeguard clients during critical situations.
• Facilitate ongoing support through follow-up care and develop personalized treatment recommendations tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Employ crisis intervention strategies and de-escalation techniques effectively to manage high-stress situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be individuals in distress, particularly those dealing with substance misuse and acute mental health emergencies. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Valid and current Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in crisis intervention and mental health counseling.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed care principles.
• Proficient in conducting rapid assessments and devising personalized intervention plans for clients in crisis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering counseling services specifically targeting individuals in acute mental health crises.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skills.
