This role is performed entirely remotely, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while residing anywhere within the state of Colorado. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify mental health challenges and create personalized treatment plans that facilitate healing and growth.
  • Provide individual therapy sessions utilizing therapeutic modalities that promote personal development, emotional well-being, and healthier relationship dynamics.
  • Collaboratively establish therapeutic goals with clients and monitor their progress throughout the course of therapy to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Implement teletherapy solutions for clients who may find it difficult to travel, making mental health care accessible to a broader audience.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation to uphold ethical standards and enhance the quality of care provided.
  • Participate in regular professional development opportunities to refine clinical skills and remain informed about the latest trends and techniques within the field.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Better Life Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele experiencing various mental health issues, including relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Our clients come from various backgrounds and often seek therapy to navigate life challenges and improve their well-being. Your role will be instrumental in guiding them through their healing processes, offering compassionate, individualized support.

Qualifications
  • Possession of an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Colorado.
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting client relationships.
  • Demonstrated empathy, nonjudgmental attitude, and an understanding approach towards clients’ struggles and experiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to efficiently manage a caseload and complete administrative tasks.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in a community health clinic or private practice setting.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and the ability to conduct effective virtual sessions.
  • Experience in treating a variety of mental health conditions, and a specialization in areas such as addiction therapy or family systems therapy is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
