About the Role

You will serve as a core engineer on a small team delivering enterprise web services deployed in AWS. This mid-level role expects you to own features end-to-end across the full stack, contribute to architectural decisions, and drive improvements to reliability and maintainability across multiple production applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features across the API, UI, and data layers with limited supervision
• Own production services — deploy, monitor, troubleshoot incidents, and drive root-cause fixes
• Contribute to system architecture discussions including tradeoffs, scalability, and security
• Participate actively in code reviews and establish maintainable patterns across the codebase
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements, estimate work, and deliver iteratively in an Agile environment
• Write clear technical approaches and documentation when needed

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in one or more: PHP, .NET C#, Java, Node.js, or Python
• Front-end development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Vue.js or React
• Deploying and operating software on Linux — service configuration, logging, basic networking, and automation
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication/authorization patterns, and secure coding practicesWorking knowledge of relational databases including indexing and practical query tuning

Desired Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS experience: IAM, EC2, ALB, S3, RDS, CloudWatch — or Azure equivalents
• Nginx, Apache, or Tomcat configuration and performance tuning
• Scripting and automation with PowerShell and/or Python; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience supporting production services and participating in incident response or on-call rotations
