Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to identify functional limitations and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Engage with healthcare providers to offer insights on the continuum of care for each patient and ensure collaborative healthcare delivery.
• Deliver compassionate care while maintaining superior customer service standards, addressing patients’ needs regardless of age or cultural background.
• Implement treatment interventions, regularly re-evaluate patients’ progress, educate patients and their families, and document treatment outcomes effectively.
• Maintain compliance with state laws and regulations governing physical therapy, ensuring meticulous documentation and reimbursement practices for services rendered.
• Foster communication with the interdisciplinary treatment team and contribute to team discussions regarding patient management, treatment strategies, and discharge planning.
• Participate in leadership activities that include marketing, community outreach, continuous quality improvement (CQI), and supervising physical therapy assistants and support staff.
• Dedicate time to professional development through continuing education and in-service training opportunities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

Experience in an orthopedic setting is desired, with proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in therapeutic exercises. Compensation and Benefits
