Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Counselor at Benchmark Healthcare Solutions, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments to understand client needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on best practices.
  • Delivering evidence-based individual therapy sessions tailored to promote personal growth, manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges.
  • Setting therapeutic goals with clients, closely monitoring their progress, and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
  • Providing teletherapy options to cater to clients who face accessibility challenges, ensuring that high-quality care reaches diverse populations.
  • Maintaining precise documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to meet ethical and organizational standards.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to keep abreast of new methodologies, tools, and best practices in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapy services are designed for a diverse population dealing with various mental health issues including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, major depressive episodes, trauma-related disorders, and interpersonal relationship challenges. You will work with individuals seeking effective support and encouragement, providing them with the tools they need to achieve their health goals.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A valid state license as either an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), or PsyD.
  • A master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively within a virtual work environment.
  • A compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental attitude toward clients.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in teletherapy, crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, or therapeutic modalities such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) will be given preference. Evidence of continuous learning, such as relevant certifications or training, is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 annually, complemented by a $3,000 sign-on bonus for newly hired licensed therapists. Our benefits package includes:
