  • Respond to RFIs, review submittals, and assist with construction administration tasks.
  • Conduct site visits and field observations for existing conditions, construction progress, threshold inspection support, and structural evaluations.
  • Assist with inspection reports, structural observation reports, field reports, and other written engineering deliverables.
  • Manage assigned tasks and smaller projects with limited supervision while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
  • Communicate clearly with the Principal Engineer regarding project status, design issues, deadlines, and required decisions.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, organization, punctuality, and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering.
  • 3+ years of structural building design experience preferred.
  • Engineer Intern / Engineer-in-Training certification required.
  • Actively pursuing Professional Engineer licensure preferred.
  • Experience with structural design of buildings using steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and/or cold-formed metal framing.
  • Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD and Revit as well as Bentley Structural Analysis software such as STAAD and RAM Structural System is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
